There are 2 primary things you can try to troubleshoot your P400+ Payment Terminal
1. Check the connection from LightSpeed to the Terminal
2. Check the connection from Terminal to Cayan
Check the connection from LightSpeed to the Terminal:
- In LightSpeed navigate to Settings > Payment Processing
- Click the terminal in question (POS 1, POS 2 or POS 3)
- At the top of the page click the “Test Connection” button
- If it’s working you’ll see a message that says success
Check the connection from Terminal to Cayan:
- On the terminal Push 000
- Enter Password 9416557
- Click Network > Test
- If test pass you can press the red X (Cancel) button on the keypad to return to home screen
- If the test do not pass then tap the Back button and then click Restart to restart the terminal. Once restarted try running the Network test again.
