Two Factor Authentication is a security service that allows user identity to be checked on two devices. In other words it is a personal verification system used by many providers as an extra level of security.
In most cases two factor uses the users cell phone as a secondary verification by sending a text message containing a verification code you enter to verify you are associated with the account you are attempting to access.
In some cases you can create custom keys for apps on your computer or phone. For example you can create a custom key for Apple Mail that is always able to connect without the need to verify again. This keeps your devices from constantly nagging you to verify every time it tries to connect to check for mail. Instructions are included below.
