There are a few things to do to keep things safe on your computer and devices.
Be Vigilant
The most important thing to pay attention to is links that you are clicking on either from the web or from email. SPAM and phishing attacks will attempt to "trick" you into clicking or even entering passwords in what looks like a legitimate website or email. Always verify the URL address in the web browser before entering passwords or email addresses.
Use Two Factor Authentication

Use Strong Passwords
Typical standards are for 8 character passwords using at least one capital letter. Consider also including a special character(if possible)and numbers into your password. The more complex the password-the smaller chance of it getting hacked. This won't keep your password safe if you enter it into an online form so remember to stay vigilant with your surfing. Also password mangers help create and save complex passwords. We highly suggest using a password manager.
Password Managers
Password Management software has been invaluable to our business. Not only does it create long and complex passwords, but also saves the password into a database locked down by and master password for easy access and recollection. Different password managers offer different feature sets. Some allow for easy password sharing or team password sharing along with a local database. Some allow for syncing to other devices and backing up to the cloud. Some are based in the cloud already.
